Shurhold's Replacement Dual Action Polisher Backing Plate (3130) has a diameter of 5" with a 5/16" x 24 thread count post and is made with polyurethane. It is designed specifically to work with Shurhold's Dual Action Polisher (3100) and features a quick-release hook and loop system that works with most 5.5" - 6.5" Velcro-style pads.

- Confirm that your polisher is off and unplugged.
- Using the wrench that was supplied with your polisher, engage the backing plate nut and unscrew the old backing plate.
- Reverse this process to screw on a new backing plate.
