New SeaStar (Teleflex Marine) mechanical rack & pinion XTREME steering cable. Part number SSCX15415. This is the XTREME version of the SSC13415 cable (also called TFXtreme). XTREME cables reduce steering effort, especially at long lengths.

Compatibility

• Compatible with helm and bezel kits SH5210P/SB39526P and SH5230P/SB39544P (NFB).
• The SSCX15415 can directly replace SSC13415 and SSC15415 cables, and be used with SS14115 and SS15115 steering systems.

Important Notes Before Ordering

• Does not replace SSC 124, SSC 130, or Detmar cables.
• For single-cable systems only (not dual-cable).
• On your existing cable, find the part number printed on the cable jacket, and match it to SSC13415 or SSC15415.
• Can't find the part number? Here's how you can determine if this is the correct cable:
  • Rack-to-helm mounting is 1-5/8" by 2-1/4" bolt centers (see photos). Make sure this is an exact match.
  • Make sure distance from center of rack (where gear is visible) to the end of the stainless shaft is 15 foot.
