Specifications

• Cable Series: SSC 124 (does not replace 134 series)
• Cable Length: 11 Foot (measured from center of rack to end of stainless shaft)

Compatibility

• This is the old style XR-4 cable that fits the obsolete Teleflex rack helms used from 1984 to 1996 (helm part numbers SH5098P, SH5097P, SH91528, and SH91529).

Important Notes Before Ordering

• Not compatible with current-style 1996-date Teleflex/SeaStar mechanical steering.
• Not interchangeable with SSC134 series cables.
• On your existing cable, find the part number printed on the cable jacket, and match it to SSC 124 11.
• Can't find the part number? Here's how you can determine if this is the correct cable:
  • Rack-to-helm mounting is 1-3/8" by 2-1/8" bolt centers (see photos). Make sure this is an exact match.
  • Make sure distance from center of rack (where gear is visible) to the end of the stainless shaft is 11 foot.
