New SeaStar (Teleflex Marine) NFB Dual-Cable rack & pinion mechanical steering system. Part number SS15214. Includes cable, helm, and bezel to fully replace an existing steering system or as part of a new installation. Features "No FeedBack" technology to lock out steering loads, a 4.0-turn lock-to-lock helm, and a common 3/4" tapered keyed steering shaft for wheels up to 16". Suitable for most outboards up to 150 HP that have a tilt tube and link arm (for dual cable).

Note: Unlike older dual-cable steering systems that used two separate cables, this kit uses a cable that has a single rack that splits into two cables.

Cable Length (Important!)
This system comes with a 14 foot dual-cable (SS15214). Read the measuring guide in the product photos thoroughly to make sure it is what you need. The 14ft is measured from the center of the rack (where gear is visible) to the end of the stainless shaft that connects to the link arm. If measuring an existing cable and you only measure the cable jacket, it will be too short!
