Jabsco 37068-2000 solenoid valves are designed to enhance the performance of electric marine toilets, particularly when a vented loop is installed in the inlet hose. Vented loops serve as anti-siphon safety devices for both manual and electric marine toilets situated below the waterline. However, incorporating a vented loop can sometimes impede the toilet's priming and flow capabilities. To address this, the 37068-2000 solenoid valve connects to the vent air inlet, ensuring optimal performance and reliable priming. The valve is controlled by the toilet's operation switch and can be mounted conveniently above the vented loop.

Features

• Ensures maximum electric toilet performance and self-priming ability when installing a vented loop in the inlet hose
• Valve may be mounted in any convenient location which is higher than the top of the vented loop
• Connect the brass port of the valve (remove plastic filter, if installed) with the air inlet of the vented loop using heavy-wall 3/16" tube
• Ensure tubing drops continually from valve to vent and is not looped (to create water pockets) or kinked
• Wire the solenoid valve in parallel with the toilet motor by connecting one side of the solenoid to the toilet flush switch and the other side to battery ground

Specifications

• May be used for 12, 24, or 32V D.C.
• Not recommended for duty cycles longer than one minute when used in the 24 or 32V applications
• Note: Vented loop not included.
